Karina Tardif
Karina Tardif is a chartered professional accountant. After obtaining her bachelor degree, she worked in an accounting firm, but quickly realized that this was not the profession for her. She then worked in business as a production cost and financial analyst. Although she enjoyed working with numbers, she wanted to provide consulting services. In 1999, she joined Raymond Chabot’s Montréal office as a commercial administrator. She found her new position very motivating and began studying to become a licensed insolvency trustee, which she achieved in 2006. She was then asked to undertake business development in her home town of Granby. The first trustee in charge of this region, she still manages a team of counsellors there.
“What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger!”
Karina is very active in her community and is a member of the board of directors of the Centre d’aide aux entreprises de la Haute-Yamaska. She is also active with her family and never fails to attend her children’s hockey games.
Testimony
“I felt comfortable talking about my financial problems and I didn’t feel that I was being judged. Now I feel confident and I’m much less anxious about my future.”
