Doriane Villeneuve
Doriane Villeneuve studied business administration in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. A brilliant student, she received the Leadership Scholarship from the Fonds de placement de l’Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) during her university studies. Then she worked a few years as a wealth management associate for National Bank Financial before joining Raymond Chabot’s team of financial recovery counsellors in 2022.
She was looking for a new challenge when she met a Raymond Chabot recruiter. During their conversation, he suggested that she watch the Syndics documentary series, which presents the profession. Doriane was completely fascinated and discovered that behind every debt, there is a story and human beings. She then decided to apply to become a financial recovery counsellor.
Outside of work, Doriane has a passion for botany and knitting. Making beautiful woolen clothes is like meditation; it allows her to completely disconnect!
"Helping people find a solution for getting out of a difficult financial situation is what motivates me the most."
Her approach? Listening and empathy. Because, as she says so well, no one is immune from a difficult financial situation.
To find the best solution and help her clients to the best of her ability, Doriane analyzes the situation in depth and sometimes consults colleagues to get their perspective of the situation. For the young woman whose motto is “every problem has a solution”, seeing vulnerable people regain their quality of life and move on to another chapter of their lives is rewarding every time.
