Fanny Gélinas Paquin
Fanny Gélinas Paquin studied management, marketing and fashion marketing. She has always enjoyed helping people and quickly developed a keen interest in law and finance. It was only natural that she turned to the field of insolvency and financial recovery, which, she believes, encompasses all of her interests.
A persistent young woman with two young children, Fanny studied in the evenings for two and a half years, while working full time, to obtain her trustee’s license. She then worked for several years at Ginsberg Gingras as an insolvency trustee. She joined the Raymond Chabot team in 2022.
Fanny believes that the obstacles in our lives allow us to grow, even if it is not always easy. She applies this philosophy to help her clients by analyzing their financial situations and then proposing a solution that will allow them to move on to the next stage of their lives.
“I enjoy solving complex situations to find a solution that is fair for everyone involved.”
With her listening skills and her empathy, Fanny easily puts herself in the place of the people who come to see her. Without ever judging them, she tries to simplify the situation to help them open the door to a better future. One step at a time, she works with her clients to set the objective to be reached, even if it means making adjustments along the way.
Fanny has been a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) since 2020.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She practices yoga and dance and has a passion for reading. A lifelong student, Fanny is always looking to learn more about a variety of topics ranging from mental and physical health to plants, fashion and design.
